All interested parties are invited to submit an abstract in a general call for papers for first annual Speech Conference at Afeka. Selected papers will be presented during the Speech Processing Conference, on Wednesday, June 22, 2011.

We welcome paper proposals from researchers, vendors, developers and providers of speech processing technologies on any of the following topics:

  1. Speech Recognition
  2. Speaker Identification/Verification/Diarization
  3. Speech Transcription
  4. Speech Analytics
  5. Keyword Spotting
  6. Speech Enhancement
  7. Voice-User Interface
  8. Human-Machine Interaction
  9. Multimodal Interaction
  10. Text-to-Speech
  11. Other... (if no appropriate category)
Abstracts can describe research, products, services and/or case studies relevant to any of the speech processing related topics listed above.

Abstracts should be no more than one page or 500 words and should include the following in the heading:

  • The title of the paper
  • Author name/s
  • Author/s affiliation
  • The speech processing technology category (from the above list)
The deadline for abstract submission is February 1, 2011.
Acceptance notifications will be given via email by March 31, 2011.
The deadline for final submission is June 1, 2011.
